The Greenhouse Effect

Shipwrecked on a remote island off the coast of Tasmania, Aster Bloom is rescued by the island's lone resident,  the mysterious and handsome Devon McLeod.

With no way to contact the mainland Aster is forced to stay with the reclusive stranger in his creepy 19th century manor house until the monthly supply boat arrives.

Protective of the secret research he is conducting in the massive Greenhouse attached to the property,  Devon is uspicious of his attractive, but unwanted visitor’s appearance on the island.

Curious about her reluctant saviour and suspicious of his motives for keeping her on the island, Aster begins to wonder - does he really have no way of contacting the outside world, or is he keeping her there for some other, more sinister reason?

Just what is hidden inside the locked trunk in the attic? What is the secret research that Devon is conducting in the greenhouse?  And what effect will the greenhouse have on both their lives?

Reviews...

Here is a wonderful review I got from Kim who lives in Canada...

OMG I have a new favorite Novel!! This story is beautifully written!! I absolutely love it. I wasn't sure what to expect because of the cover, so I am thinking to myself this is going to be about an environmental issue & saving the planet, well NOT!!!

I just absolutely love it. I can relate to Aster sitting in her apartment, working at a place I used to love, having my own Charlie. Now I just need to find my own Devon!!

Move over Sleepless In Seattle, The Greenhouse Effect is in town.

Thank you so much for letting me forget about life for awhile. I just picked up the pkg today but had a migraine so I didn't start reading until like 10:00 pm & in between eating & icing its now 3:21 am!!! I could not put this book down. I think that has happened to me once & I can't even remember the name of the book.

This book is brilliant, I love love love it!!

Thank you so much for sending it. I can't wait to delve into the others. I better get some sleep as I am going to my sisters for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow & have to make my dish in the morning, I was supposed to do that tonight....lol.

Thanks Sally R-D, you made my night! :)
